The past few weeks have been productive and have involved a great deal of weekend working, whilst not always a good thing, is sometimes a necessity as a small business.
At the moment we have completed the design work for the third mould of the family of four for the Recoil Knee Pad and about to start the manufacturing process. The second mould - for the knee pad protector - was completed recently and went for success trial (see images below on the Haas Super Mini Mill and the mould still complete with the ejector pins!)
The next batch of front bezels (see image below) for inclusion in the Kio Kit / BRCK - a fantastic tool for schools and teachers in remote villages in Africa were made from HDPE on our CNC Router and delivered to another local Scottish business for assembly and the electronics stage.
A quick turnaround job was the electronic assembly jigs CNC machined in PEEK.
We are in the process of extending our space a little and have some building works going on as we speak....mainly to make more room for the CNC Router and storing plastic, but also to create an additional office space.
